Are prices in GBP, and how is VAT handled? +
All prices are in GBP and shown exclusive of VAT. UK customers are charged 20% VAT. EU business customers with a valid VAT number are reverse-charged. Customers outside the UK and EU are billed net of VAT. VAT receipts are available in the billing portal.
What counts as an API call? +
One successful HTTP request to any of our seven product endpoints equals one call. 4xx validation errors, rate-limit rejections, and cached responses served within your TTL are free. Batch requests count as one call per row processed.
How does the annual discount work? +
Annual plans are 20% cheaper than month-to-month on every paid tier. You pay the full year up front, get a single invoice, and any unused call allowance rolls over month to month within the contract year.
What happens if I go over my monthly allowance? +
Overages are off by default — we hard-stop at your quota and return HTTP 429 until the next reset. You can opt in to metered overages at the rate shown in the comparison table, or pre-buy call packs. You will never get a surprise invoice.
Can I upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time? +
Yes. Upgrades are prorated and take effect immediately. Downgrades apply at the next billing cycle. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the paid month; annual plans cancel at renewal. There is no lock-in beyond the term you have paid for.
Do you offer refunds? +
New annual subscribers get a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. After that we do not refund paid periods, but we will always refund duplicate charges or billing errors. If an SLA breach occurs, service credits are issued automatically per the Scale or Enterprise SLA.
How does team billing work? +
Starter includes 5 seats, Scale includes unlimited seats, and Enterprise adds SSO and SCIM provisioning. Seats are free — you only pay for API usage. Owners can invite teammates, scope API keys per project, and set per-key usage caps from the dashboard.
What is the SLA and how are credits calculated? +
Free and Starter have uptime targets, not commitments. Scale offers a 99.95% SLA: if we miss it in a calendar month, you receive 10% service credit per 0.1% missed, up to 50%. Enterprise offers 99.99% with 1-hour P1 response and custom remedies written into the contract.
